May 8, 2020 New plans, triple the revenue!

We'd been tossing around the idea of changing up the way our plans work from being only feature base to feature and usage base. The theory was, feature based plans without usage limits would fuel growth — and that it did. At a certain point growth without also pushing revenue hits a point where it cost more (service$$$) than is sustainable. The best way for us to monetize growth was to build usage into our plans. BOOM. We launched plan limits on May 8th; within a week and a half we doubled subscriptions and tripled subscriptions within 3 weeks.

Should we have made the change sooner? Maybe? We learned a lot about our users through growing while giving away the farm.
