WatchAccuracy
A progressive web-app for measuring the accuracy of watches.
After noticing that many people don't understand the functionality, I decided to redesign the landing page. Beside some visual improvements I implemented time synchronization between server and client. The synchronized time in different time zones can be viewed at https://watchaccuracy.com/time/.

It took me a while to finish the MVP. I used https://svelte.dev/ and https://sapper.svelte.dev/ to create the web-app. It's basically a PWA that allows you to measure the accuracy of multiple watches and clocks. All the data is stored on the client, so there is no need to sign up.

My watch was inaccurate so I started reading about the precision of mechanical watches. It turned out, that they are not very accurate (in comparison to quarz movements).
I wanted to measure the accuracy of it. The only website for measuring the precision of watches wanted me to sign-up using E-mail. This annoyed me a bit, so I started to develop my own app.

My watch was off. And I had a little time.
