WattFlow
Real Battery Charging/Discharge Watts for Android
WattFlow started as "why doesn't my phone just tell me the watts while charging" — turned into an app that reads BatteryManager directly and normalizes a pile of OEM inconsistencies (mA vs µA reporting, inverted charge/discharge sign conventions per vendor).
Just landed the first paid sale on the Play Store version this week — $2.99 one-time, one-tap install, auto-updates via Google Play. If you're comfortable sideloading, the exact same features are also free as an open-source build on GitHub with nightly builds — that's there for anyone who'd rather go that route, no pressure either way.
Stack: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, no backend — everything's on-device, no ads/analytics by design, which I think helped trust/conversion more than hurt it.

GitHub (FOSS, same features, self-install): https://github.com/Shureby/wattflow

Curious what other Android indie devs found moved the needle from free-download to first paid conversion — that's the part I have the least signal on.
About
Android never shows the real watts flowing into or out of your battery, only a %. WattFlow reads BatteryManager API directly for an honest, real-time number, plus tools to diagnose charging and battery health.
