Wavetrotter
Surf Travel App
So I had a lot of people visiting some of my blog posts that weren't converting over to the website or apps.
The blog site was hosted on Wordpress at blog.wavetrottersurf.com
It took awhile to load between pages and had a 'go to app' button at the top that was the only way people would go to the main site.
I used Storyblok integrated with NuxtJS to build a CMS directly on the site - https://wavetrottersurf.com/surf-blog
It looks better and page load is craaaazy better.
Will keep track of the analytics to see if this makes it easier for people to breeze around.
I know I definitely could have staged a better launch and done all of the right checklist items to get a more successful launch...but I got shit to do haha
The Wavetrotter 2.0 is now live on Product Hunt...

Today I shipped out the source code for my iOS and Android apps for Wavetrotter. I built the app using Flutter - super amazing software for solopreneurs.
Hopefully it gets through review quickly...
I'm hoping the app versions are much more conducive to people signing up as the web version gets some traffic but lots of people die off.

I rebuilt Wavetrotter from 'scratch' using NuxtJS.
The app was already in NuxtJS but was pretty buggy because I had been building on the fly and my code was a mess.
I went through the app took out everything I didn't need and fixed a few bugs.
Looks like a MVP 2.0 now ;)
