December 27, 2021 Wrote Advent Calendar 2021

I wanted to have articles to explain what is Wazterm but it's very difficult to motivate myself to write them. In Japan, writing an advent calendar is popular in the IT industry. So I started it and completed writing 25 articles!

October 15, 2021 Spent one year to overhaul the product

I found a lot of problems after releasing Wazaterm. The flaws come from the design of the product. It was ok for me to use but our customers don't. For example, Wazaterm's terminal was shut down and it doesn't resume the process. I overcame this by tweaking tmux but no one wants to do it. and I've decided to implement a hiebernate function. I spent one year improving the product and finally come to the point that I'm confident and plan to start marketing again. How? I'm not sure.. but let me try to write a blog article.

I didn't have time to refine this project as my primary job was getting busy. I've been using this service by myself for more than year though no chance to launch to the audience on the internet.

Since I got some time to work to this project in this summer, I cleaned up a bit and posted in producthunt. I didn't expect much but I got more than 400 upvotes!!, which suprised me and I decided to work on this project a bit seriously.

March 23, 2019 Finished MVP

Researched containers, aws APIs and opensource software to make it happen. Spent a lot of time to try and error. It was just working and no design, but I can use this to start to work in anywhere. Cafe, office or home or even during traveling, which I just need iPad and keyboard with me.

September 8, 2018 Came up with the idea

I started to use Chromebox/ChromeOS at work and found linux terminal is not stable (at that time) and required clean install 3 times.. And I used Macbook at home. I just need a single terminal to work in the both environemnt seamlessly. So I decided to buid it.
