Webase
Fully Automated AI Product Development
So I did a thing.
I vibe coded a vibe coding platform.
I've had this idea in my mind for several months and finally decided to build it about four weeks ago.
The result is Webase, and honestly I am still a bit blown away by how quickly you can build a non-trivial platform if you have deep knowledge of what you want to build.
I say “I built it”, which is true… but more accurately I was the architect, the bus driver if you will.
Most of the coding was done with a combination of Claude Code and Codex. Claude did the majority of the work, but using both together was a complete game changer.
What is Webase?
It is a full blown AI Automated Product Development Platform.

It starts the same way tools like Lovable or Bolt dot new do.
You tell Webase what you want to build.
But behind the scenes something different happens.
Instead of just generating code, Webase uses AI to first generate a product roadmap of the features that will be built. Then it automatically generates the application based on that roadmap.
Webase isn't just generating code — it's managing the process of building the product.
Once the app is created, Webase suggests five new features to build next.
You can:
chat with Webase and tell it what to build
or simply approve the suggestions and keep shipping
You also get things like authentication and a real database by default, which means the applications start off much closer to production-ready than most generated projects.
The way I think about it is this:
Most AI coding tools help you write code. Webase helps you build the product.
Pricing (The Indie Hacker Problem)
One big challenge with AI products is pricing.
AI tools cost real money because they rely on APIs like Claude and GPT-5.4. That makes it hard to offer a very generous free plan.
My solution was a Starter Pack.
💡 $29 one-time
It gives you enough usage to build real apps and even deploy them to a custom domain, without yet another monthly subscription.
If Webase adds real value, then upgrading to a monthly plan becomes a no-brainer.
And that’s my job now — to keep adding enough value that upgrading feels obvious.
If you'd like to try it out:
I'd Love Your Feedback
I'm still very early with Webase and would genuinely love input from other Indie Hackers.
A few things I'm especially curious about:
• Does the AI-generated roadmap idea make sense to you?
• Would the $29 starter pack make you likely to try something like this?
• What would you want an AI platform like this to do that existing tools don't?
Brutally honest feedback is welcome.
Your fellow indie hacker,
Harris Reynolds
