WebEd - website builder
Web design visually in your mobile
Hey Indie Hackers 👋,
I just built a lightweight Custom Icon Editor directly inside WebEd.
Problem: Normally, creating or editing icons requires switching between multiple tools (Figma, Illustrator, online editors), which wastes time.
Solution: Now, you can:
Draw and edit icons right inside WebEd
Modify shapes and paths easily
Access Google Icons directly without leaving the tool
Export icons and use them in your projects
All-in-one, no extra tools needed ✅
This is just the first version. Upcoming features include:
Prebuilt icon templates
Quick style controls (stroke, fill, size)
Direct save to your project
Curious to know – how do you currently handle icons in your projects? Would an integrated icon editor with Google Ic
ons make your workflow faster?
Hi Indie Hackers! 👋 I’m Sahil, a solo maker from India. A few months ago I was about to quit coding… but then I decided to build something that solves my own problem.
Most website builders are made for desktop-first. But I didn’t always have access to a PC. Coding and building websites on mobile was painful.
That’s why I built WebEd — a free mobile-first web editor. You can create websites with low coding skills directly on your phone, and it also works on desktop.
Right now it’s completely free. I recently added a working signup system and already crossed 60+ users, which gave me the motivation to keep improving it.
👉 I’d love your feedback! Do you see WebEd as useful? What features would make it better for you?

Most website builders are designed for desktop first, and then adjusted for mobile. But I wanted something different. WebEd is made mobile-first so even if you don’t have a laptop/PC, you can still create a website.
