Why am I here?

Seeing all the threads here and admiring all the #buildinginpublic posts, I have finally decided to work on a side project. Since this will be the first time I will be creating a full stack app and not the occasional github snippets, I have decided to create a bookmarking app to replace my current workflow.

Why a bookmarking app? you ask. Well, the backend and design is simple enough to create and I can dogfood this easily since I am a self proclaimed bookmarking pro user. The idea is to start with something small and learn along the way.
