Today I'm entering the beta phase! The prototype already had everything I needed to automate screenshots myself, but it lacked functionality for an MVP: projects, API key management, social login, member management, extensions for screenshot generation. All this plus a landing page and documentation was missing for the beta launch. But now the time has come: the product can finally open its doors and prove itself in real scenarios!

It took a few weeks until I had a first Prototype with which I could generate my own screenshots. It was important to me that I could generate multiple screenshots at once, and that I could store credentials so that Websiteshot would automatically log into my SaaS to capture the product views.

The task is simple, the result is often different, the regular update is annoying: Screenshots of web products for documentations, blog posts, conferences and much more. I was missing a tool with which I can generate many screenshots at the push of a button. And that I can incorporate into my workflows as easily as possible. That's where it starts.
