Developer jobs in Northren Ireland
This month has been the busiest month ever in terms of traffic for WeCode NI. The past three months have seen pretty big month on month growth. I'm not sure if this is an annual trend, or if things are starting to pick up!
WeCode NI has now been live for a few days and it already has it's first few customers. I used my personal network to reach out to people I knew were hiring and offered them job posts for a super cheap pre-launch price and it is paying off!
Recently, I had to find a new job. The process of finding a developer job in Northern Ireland often involves applying to mystery companies through 3rd party recruiters. You would have no idea what company you were applying until a recruiter already had you personal details - not ideal.
I also noticed that with Belfast's blossoming tech scene, there were a lot of companies hiring developers.
I decided to build a simple job board, similar to Pieter Level's Remote Ok that focused on tech jobs in Belfast and Northern Ireland
