I’m excited to share Wedoinventory.com, a product we’ve been building over the past few months to help small to medium businesses simplify how they manage stock, suppliers, and orders.
If you’ve ever been frustrated by missing stock, manual spreadsheets, or dealing with dozens of suppliers, I think this might hit home. I’d love your feedback / honest thoughts on the idea, and what features you’d want if this were part of your toolkit.
The Problem
From talking to business owners, store managers, makers, and e-commerce folks, here’s what keeps surfacing:
Spreadsheets or generic tools don’t cover the quirks of inventory— things like reorder thresholds, multiple suppliers, multiple locations, partial shipments, damaged returns.
Frequently people lose track of which supplier has which item, or what’s coming in, what’s low, what’s damaged, etc.
Low visibility => overstocking or stockouts => lost sales or wasted cash.
Integrations are weak. Many systems don’t “talk” to e-commerce, POS, shipping, or do so in fragile, work-around ways.
