Weekary

App Store Growth Toolkit for Indie Developers

September 7, 2026 I built an AI toolkit to help indie developers stop launching great apps to silence

I'm Burak, a solo founder from Turkey. I built Weekary after watching a developer friend spend 14 months on an iOS app — meticulous about every detail — and launch to almost nothing.

The app was genuinely good. But his App Store screenshots looked like they were made in Keynote at 2am. His listing was stuffed with keywords he guessed at. He had no idea what his competitors were doing.

I kept seeing this pattern. Talented developers pouring everything into their product, then treating the App Store like an afterthought. Not because they didn't care — because nobody ever taught them that part, and the tools that exist are either built for agencies or too shallow to be useful.

So I built Weekary. Six AI-powered tools — Store Ready Score, Competitor Intelligence, Listing Generator, Weekary Studio, ASO Report, and Launch Kit — all in one place, starting free.

I'm the target user. Every feature exists because I asked: what would have saved my friend?

Still early. Would love honest feedback from anyone who's dealt with App Store marketing as a solo dev.

The interesting test seems to be downstream of the toolkit. When solo devs use Weekary before launch, do you see measurable changes in App Store impressions, conversion, or installs—or mainly better listings and screenshots?

Sharp question — and the honest answer is: we don't have clean causation data yet.

What we do see clearly is the listing quality gap. Screenshots, keyword structure, metadata coherence — the before/after is immediate. But whether that translates directly to impressions or conversion lifts is harder to isolate, especially when most early users are first-time launchers with no baseline to compare against.

We're tracking a cohort of existing apps that relaunched after using Weekary — that's where we'll get the real answer. Still early.

What I'm genuinely curious about: do you think listing quality is underrated as a lever, or do you see it more as table stakes at this point?

That relaunch cohort should be much more telling than the before/after screenshots alone. I’d be interested in seeing what the data shows once it matures. If you’re open to it, what’s the best email to reach you on?

Sure, you can reach me out from hello at weekary dot com, any time. Appreciate it.

Thanks! I’ve just sent it over.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.

About

I watched a developer friend spend 14 months on a great app. He launched to silence — not because the app was bad, but because his App Store presence was invisible. I kept seeing this. Weekary exists to fix it.
