Weekrise
A weekly task planner and to-do list.
Today I launched Weekrise on a few communities, like Indie Hackers, r/SideProject, r/ProductivityApps and Saashub. Next week I plan to launch on Hacker News and Product Hunt.
This is the first time I am taking this approach so I'm really interested to see how it goes.
It took 4 weeks, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for Weekrise. I worked mostly nights and weekends, and I coded the whole thing in React and PHP, since I use React on a daily basis and haven't used PHP in a while and wanted to give it a try again. In hindsight, there were a few features I built that probably could've waited until later. But I'm excited to start talking to customers and see what they think about the product so far!
Weekrise is a classic example of eating my own dog food. I struggled with most current task management tools so I decided to build my own and I'm really happy I did it.
Weekrise is what I think is the perfect tool for self-organization it is more powerful than a simple to-do list but simpler than a calendar or a project management tool.
