I’m testing whether small businesses actually want a simpler cash-flow dashboard
I’m building West Ledger as an early demo for small business cash-flow tracking.
The goal is simple: help owners see what came in, what went out, where money is being spent, and whether they are on track for the month without making it feel like full bookkeeping software.
Right now the demo uses sample data, and CSV testing runs privately in the browser tab. I’m mostly looking for honest feedback from business owners and builders: is this clear enough to be useful, and what would need to change before someone trusted it for real tracking?

The simpler-dashboard thesis is clear, but the key hurdle seems to be trust. What would owners need to see before they'd move from sample data to real transactions?
