What About Hotels

I build fast. But build speed doesn’t matter, I found out the hard way.

After 25 years of building products the wrong way, I finally figured it out.

About a year ago I took the advice I’ve been giving clients for decades and started with the audience. I like building off of other people’s audiences a lot. Yes, there’s some platform risk, but the upside of getting traction with an audience you already know a lot about outweighs the platform risk at the beginning.

And once you have one audience, that can be leveraged into other products later.

Anyway, today we launched WhatAboutHotels.com

Yep, just an interest form for now. The goal is to find subscribers of flight alert newsletters like Scott’s Cheap Flights, Dollar Flight Club, and more, and offer a follow-up email of cheap (but 4 or 5 star) hotels in the same locations as the flight alert.

I’ve wanted this for years and have heard from so many others while building RoomSteals.com that they want the same.

Today we are starting that journey.
