We're testing a Customer Transfer Event - allows a user to easily model a Customer conversion funnel, from website visits to trial users to paid to pro plans - all without a single line of code, formulas or a spreadsheet.

Not one. Not two. Three!

We've had three random people sign up for an introductory, one-time, lifetime access tier. A whopping $10 USD each.

That is $30 USD. And we're from Canada. With the conversion rate, I should be able to put a new roof on the house.

Early validation is a wonderful thing. Miles to go to make that $10 worth it for our first three signups but can't help being excited about this tiny ripple in the massive pond.

There is Gold. There is Silver. Bronze.

I'm not sure what metal 22nd place is but we'll happily take it.

Aluminum? Zinc? Cardboard?

Regardless, thrilled to have our product out in the world and to have had a pretty good run. We had 149 Upvotes, more than 100 people visit our site and sign up and 20 people so far log into the app and start to experiment and build scenarios.

For our node-based financial scenario builder to offer value, we have to build, test and release our LEGO-like finance building blocks. Today we published our Investment Node to our beta testers. This allows everyday people to plug in their investments and see how they financially play out over time (or don't).

Just go for it.

More and more we are realizing that you just need to flex that muscle, try things out, and if you have a strong product, then people will respond accordingly.

We had four people join in, one hour, and top notch feedback. Three are bloggers/influencers that offered to promote the product on their upcoming blogs.

Reminded of the "do things that don't scale" mantra. Although today felt like it might actually scale.

I know... riveting stuff...but this is a big deal for us because now our beta users can model out their financial scenarios and account for the Tax Man. By adding an Income Tax Node to the end of their decision threads, a family can better estimate their after-tax take home pay and cash flow. Now, more than ever, having a sense of your cash flow and ability to cover your expenses will be key.

We entered ourselves in a Canadian Wealth Management Innovation Competition sponsored by one of the big banks. We landed in the top five and landed a $10,000 prize for this first phase. We have two months to refine our pitch and product and then we go for the top prize of $100,000. Very stoked to get the validation (and the funding!)
