How I built a useable app in under 2 hours
I recently moved locations, and one of the things on my todo list was to find a new dentist. I called up my health care provider, and they gave me a list of 100 dentists, along with their addresses.
Instead of checking each manually I decided to make a next.js app. I added one API route to geocode an address, had ChatGPT generate some frontend code, and wallah! Deploy to vercel, and connect a domain.
Sometimes you don't need accounts, dashboards, and the whole nine yards.
Why can't we just make useful things for fun, and release them for free?
