June 24, 2020 Finished redesigning the landing page

I intially put together a simple landing page within an hour of HTML/CSS coding, it was decent but had some accessibility and UI issues and wasn't very responsive. I realized the user conversion might be affected by it because the landing page design gives them a glimpse of how the product is going to look like. So I started to look for Figma/Sketch templates that suits my budget and goals so I can recode the landing page.

From IH, I landed on the wonderful predefined template from userlander.xyz and quickly got it almost ready for running by 20 minutes of work.

I learned that it is easier to build on top of existing things, even though you can code. Just because you can, doesn't mean you have to do it by yourself.

About

I took the #100daysofcode challenge myself and found myself keeping track of the progress took some amout of time each week and when I dropped it, looking back at it I thought a tool for this will be better.
