Most solutions offer 3 things out of the box:
1.- More advanced analytics than the ones you get in Twitter
2.- Writing support, AI, quotes generators, templates
3.- Scheduling

Of those we evaluated only one offers a free plan to star with, offering those 3 features somewhat limited.

The trend here is starting on paid with a short trail. By that time you'd have added accounts, history... so choose wisely

• Some won’t tell you the price until they get your contact, i.e. you sign up

• Others offer a free plan just to look around, you can’t do anything meaningful on top what you can do already in Twitter

• Some paid plans allow to connect only one account

• Some go beyond Twitter to cover other Social Media platforms (Linkedin, Instagram, FB, OnlyFans).

• Some will charge for adding more than one account

This post is about accelerating your Time To Market when building a nocode product by removing one of the early blockers and sometimes, a very expensive mistakes. Choosing the right tools to built on.

Hi Indies, I’m Carlos, ex-VC-funded-startup-founder, ex-VP of Product of a hyper growing AI scale-up, ex-PM of the fastest growing product company in Oceania, ex C++ and Java dev, ex-Technical Lead, ex Engineering Manager… but above all, indie and nocoder.

Despite all this experience, to this day, I struggle every time a kickoff a new project. I have launched about 15 products/projects, some with code, but most recently, with nocode tools. I have built products on Webflow, Bubble, Softr.io, Airtable, Notion… and tried out many more.

One thing I always get stuck on, even for weeks, is choosing the right set of tools to develop my project on. I’d spend days researching and testing. And even once I made up my mind, I’d still doubt my choices constantly throughout the project. Sometimes I have even switched stack well into development, and a few others, this constant insecurity actually kill the project, by slowing it down to the point of not return.

But why? What’s the problem?

Many reasons:

• It might be that the tool is too comprehensive and it take weeks to learn before producing anything meaningful.
• It might be that the tool’s features are too constrained to deliver the experience you need.
• Sometimes is their pricing structure that doesn’t fit your business model.
• Or that they’re too young with limited features, or mature but stagnant.
• Sometimes what it seems easy and fast, becomes complex and slow because all the integrations you need. Each new integration is a new tool learn, to test, to debug, another pricing plan… and overall more complexity to deal with.
  …and the list goes on.

The fact that the ecosystem is exploding it doesn’t help neither…

What’s WhichNocodeTool built on?

Great question, it was born as a Bubble app, and then switched to Softr.io, Airtable and Tally. The idea was to get it life as fast as possible to start generating traffic (this could take months), win some time and star building V2 in Bubble.

This first version was made in aprox 3 weeks, as side project, working around 3 full days per week. One of the most time consuming tasks is actually filling up the DB of quality data, prepare the images etc.

But there’re also many hidden task that most of us don’t see. Get a logo and color palette ready, domain/hosting tasks, set up new emails and profiles, SEO… the list never ends…

What’s next?

Our goal is to create the most comprehensive and concise directory of tools and curated real nocode creations on the web. Sober, not blurb, just actionable data that helps make decisions. Our goal, as I mentioned early, help nocoders make one of the hardest decisions when starting out. So they can move faster and start building.

So that’s what we’ll do, one tools at a time, one new creation at a time.

The nocode is a new born industry. It’s just starting, more and more people will be joining the movement from ever more diverse backgrounds. They’ll be overwhelmed by the amount of choice, bombarded by ads, tweets, newsletters…lost.

We need to help them, let’s do it!
