Newsletter exploring the origin of words, brands and phrases
Have launched the newsletter on Product Hunt. I have now published 10 issues of the newsletter and have gained some subscribers from referrals.
I'm hoping the Product Hunt launch will attract a few more subscribers and allow me to slowly grow the subscribers.
Today I published the first issue of Why Is That Called That.
I decided on a target of 50 subscribers and I would launch the newsletter. I reached that target last week with the help of my article on how programming languages got their names reaching the first page on HackerNews.

I often find myself wondering about the origins of everything. From words, phrases, business names and product names.
This made me think that surely others are also wondering about this. I've wanted to start a newsletter for a while now and this felt like the perfect opportunity to get started.
I had a newsletter repo from a previous newsletter I was thinking about starting and so most of the boilerplate code was there.
