August 17, 2020 My mobile app just made the first 1000 users

This is my game: https://wildsquadgame.com

I've been trying to promote my mobile game for the last month in different ways (some of them were just dumb). I started just putting a sign on my car with a QR code and record that I was doing that to post it on Tik Tok and hope that I will blow. But I quickly learn that TikTok doesn't work like that.

So, I've been promoting my game with content creators on Youtube, these people have an audience and they know that even if their audiences are small they will listen and try whatever they promote.

This is just a small step, I wanted to gain insight and better positioning before promoting harder on paid ads on social media.

That's it, I will be sharing more on my journey with Wild Squad later.

July 22, 2020 I made my first 300 downloads

Most of them were asking friends to check it out on my personal Instagram and Facebook.

I'm trying some other strategies right now but is the first game I launch and I'm not sure yet what works and what doesn't.

I also made a contest on my social media about who can pass all the levels which was fun.

This gave me a lot of feedback and comments for a new version that I released a week after.
