March 7, 2020 Focus on my mental health

All this while, I have continuously worked on Willeder but forgotten to take care of myself. It hurt at times because I have been burnt out at least 3 times now and it takes a lot of effort to get back up. I want to now focus on my mental health as well while I am working on Willeder.
I started a new experiences with the updates here: https://www.willeder.us/users/4015a382-19c2-44ce-9f5d-905b868aff10/userExperiences/af8539cb-bb2c-4eca-afbf-3e1dfa1a4236/highlights/f8ae3bba-5e37-460b-95c0-da7bcba77e30/?accessType=1

February 26, 2020 40 Writers and 300 MAU

I am really happy with the user behavior on Willeder. People are starting to create their own community here and about 40% of the people are posting at least once a week about a certain experience they are going through. This is honestly so exciting to see and I believe it might be time to start branding on other platforms now.

January 6, 2020 V 0.0.3

For the past few months, we had to scrape a lot of features that were completely unnecessary. We needed to pivot again as this product wouldn't make a lot of sense to brand it to startups initially. Did learn a lot about selling too which I kinda dislike due to the shallow nature of it. August 21, 2019 V 0.0.2 Alpha

Like I mentioned earlier, I learned a lot about coding last year and all of that is of great help atm. Plus it took a lot less time to build this version. We are quickly testing this with a few of our friends to see the kind of feedback we get and how to move forward. July 12, 2019 Pivoting

So we started out with a very big idea about changing the way the hiring system works. We wanted to focus on redesigning the resume and wanted everyone to accept that. And of course it didn't work and we kinda failed miserably but on the other hand learned a lot! We learned about how startups hire and why they rely so much on their networks. Furthermore, we learned about how candidates were trying to express their stories on how they achieved things rather than just what their achievements were. So the upcoming pivot is focused on helping candidates share their journey. February 12, 2019 MVP V 0.0.1

And with that, I am done with the MVP. I know it did take a while but I am so happy to learn about some incredible things you could do with frontend programming. I am also very very thankful to the person who created VueJS because it made it so simple to design and express myself through the website. It also did take this long because we had some major crashes along the way and learning how to upload an image to a server through expressJS is practically hell. As usual if you want to keep track of this adventure: https://www.willeder.us/users/4015a382-19c2-44ce-9f5d-905b868aff10/workExperiences/e5c524c1-3279-42b1-8ba7-ad2c6766048b/highlights/15118ef5-b68c-4721-ac7f-5e149e055391/?accessType=1

October 8, 2018 The importance of rejections

Well though it hurts to get all the NOs I believe it is very important for me to go through this as this needs to make me stronger and more confident in believing in myself and the idea I am working towards. I have also underestimated the difficulty of frontend programming and so its taking some time to rev up the MVP. As usual: https://www.willeder.us/users/4015a382-19c2-44ce-9f5d-905b868aff10/workExperiences/e5c524c1-3279-42b1-8ba7-ad2c6766048b/highlights/c0b54df9-d7ea-40aa-98c9-846c33496395/?accessType=1

July 18, 2018 Youtube might be the best learning platform

Well so not knowing how to code did suck but hey thanks to youtube and free educational videos, I was able to figure out that I wanted to work with VueJS. Also I surely am a visual learner so I am going to take care of the frontend side of the product and my founder will focus on the backend. Another update here which you can bookmark if you are enjoying the experience: https://www.willeder.us/users/4015a382-19c2-44ce-9f5d-905b868aff10/workExperiences/e5c524c1-3279-42b1-8ba7-ad2c6766048b/highlights/aa6a5b56-b8a7-4acb-9e2f-64adb8cba9af/?accessType=1

May 5, 2018 Firing up Willeder

Well diving in head first actually. Just graduated and have no clue how to run a company or even code a website tbh. But hey, I hope this adventure gives me a ride of a lifetime and I learn a lot and never give up on myself. At the end of the day, I want to make a product where people are proud to genuinely express themselves because being imperfect > pretending to be perfect. I have also started this journey on willeder: https://www.willeder.us/users/4015a382-19c2-44ce-9f5d-905b868aff10/workExperiences/e5c524c1-3279-42b1-8ba7-ad2c6766048b/highlights/c8a28e5e-b23a-11e9-9284-42010a80034e/?accessType=1
