From code to pixel perfect faster & better than ever
Last night, I demoed the barely working app to some people, and got some encouraging feedback. One guy who works at a Fortune 50 company said, "I need this right now for my work." So I'm pretty pumped that we're on the right path for good product-market fit, and am eager to start collecting beta testers and build a following.
Based on the new brand mascot, the entire personality of the marketing and app is undergoing a change. Much more playful and memorable, I hope, without crossing over into being too cutesy or annoying.
The first big changes are to the graphic design and marketing copy on the prelaunch landing page. I'll be putting the final touches on it and hopefully getting it live in the next few days.

After a moment of inspiration today, I settled on an idea for a brand mascot that is also a play on words of our product's name (shouldn't be confusing though). Inspired by the success(!) another Atlanta company has had with their "simian mailman" brand mascot, I figure it will be worthwhile to spend a bit of time creating some mascot oriented graphics for both the marketing site and the UI. The idea is to impress users with the usefulness of the app, but stick in their minds via the "cute factor".
