We learned a lot about getting the messaging right, and the various challenges of getting an app reviewed.

One thing we learned was use Fastlane.

We learned a lot during the MVP process. We had an original MVP built after 3 months, but we had to work a lot on our audio processing, and the general design of the app. So it took us longer than expected.

Lesson learned - building a consumer-grade app these days takes time.
