I posted an old tweet storm by Naval(AngleList founder) on a large subreddit. The post blew up with 1600+ upvotes and 400 comments. Elated at the success, cross posted on few other subs and got banned on two !
Lesson learnt.

I launched https://womenhustlers.com towards end on June 2019. In just around 45 days , I have reached 200 users.
I am interviewing some really interesting women building their own profitable businesses.
I got inspired by IndieHackers, starterstory and decided to start my own interview series of relatable stories.
I am so happy to build up to 200 users only on the basis of content(and almost zero marketing)

Great work so far with the interviews and exposure - despite the lack of marketing. I think a place to read about stories from women founders is a great idea. Keep it up and looking forward to seeing you succeed :)

Why do you say it's "zero marketing"?
Your product (the interviews) have a built-in network effect, where an interviewee is going to share with their network, thus growing your interest base. They are naturally going to promote.
If you ask me it is marketing and you should be proud. ;)

Hey. I agree. However till now, no one has gone ahead and aggressively promoted anything (maybe since I didn’t ask them to :) )
But you are right-

If you haven't already done it, make sure you are sharing the interviews out and tagging them. LinkedIn and Twitter are great for this, if they are on there.
That way the interviewee can easily "like/share" the post without being too self-promo looking by also being the one who created the post.

Congrats Misha! Awesome stuff.
Maybe you should add a Twitter account and share the stories there. I also would try and add a welcome email. And send that first newsletter. The longer you leave it the more open rate will drop.

Great bit of social sharing. Naval's thread is so good, and then adding a link to women hustlers is smart. I saw this soar past my post yesterday on r/Entrepreneur a few days ago.
I really like your site. Reminds me a lot of Starter Story which now has huge organic traffic. Perhaps worth reading or even talking to Pat Walls, the founder as I really believe this can be a big project.
Also, potentially look at starting a subreddit for women hustlers. I think you could get a lot of traction on r/Entrepreneur for that ... And take a % of their audience. Because you can launch the subreddit on there and r/entrepreneurridealong etc ...
And then your subreddit can be “an official subreddit for your site ...”. I think there's a real gap there right now on reddit. r/Entrepreneur is huge. But there's nothing exclusively for women I don't think

Yeah, while there’s a gap, but lesser traction somehow for women ! Not sure why though.
Also I did speak with @patwalls earlier. I went lose midway and re-picking this project up :)
