February 1, 2021 Paying users

My platform now has paying users even though I am still running beta! I am really happy that I made the choice to do a beta launch 2.5 weeks back. I've learned more about my own system with the feedback I got from these users than I ever would just sitting and trying to figure all out by myself.

January 21, 2021 The first user signed up

Today the first user signed up! This is a major step in the right direction as this will help to generate feedback for the underlying technical platform. I will keep on onboarding technical users while working on which market segment to go for. At the moment it is my thought to look at sales bots, but that might change as I start to perform market research.

January 12, 2021 Beta Launch

Today I launched the beta version of my chatbot service. This service allows developers to write relatively complex chatbots with very little code.

The next step will be to find a product-market fit. So far, I have a list of 14 industries that could serve as a good place to find customers. This will definitely be the most requiring part of the project.

August 12, 2017 Started implementation of the engine

I started the implementation of the NLP/NLU engine which is written in C++. The goal of this project is to create a new language with first-class support language patterns. The engine is inspired by Django, Ruby on Rails, Rust and Typescript. I expect that it will be much easier to create and test NLP units with this approach.

February 4, 2013 Created prototype technology

I was working as a researcher at ETH in Zurich where I had to write english articles. Being a non-native speaker, I found it difficult to make grammatically correct sentences.

One weekend I decided that I would build a grammar checker for myself as all the commercial solutions I had seen did not work. This became the prototype for this business idea.

About

Many chatbot frameworks are no-code first with a focus on ease of use rather than functionality. I've designed this new approach to NLP to make it easier to build more powerful NLP engines.
