I'm going to be honest - I hate the sales and marketing side of business - even though they are the most important.

I've always been the builder, the hacker, not the hustler, and its hard finding the patience to learn these skills, especially as its such a difficult slog in a heavily saturated market, where the key is around social media, ASO etc, all of which have long cycle times (from a developers perspective) to determine if what you have done is working or not - and always with a cost attached, be it actual money spent on marketing, or other aspects such as time, clout, reputation etc.

Thankfully I have time on my hands, so I guess I should use some of it to really start learning this side of it and get the marketing push I am hoping for.
