Work In Green

After gathering feedback from prospects about what they would like to see on their company page, I've decided that it makes sense to add a map with company location and links to social media channels so potential candidates can check more information about the company they're interested in.

Now, to be up-to-date with the newest job offers in green tech companies, you can subscribe to feed in any of the categories available, or for the entire catalog.

Since Google Reader has been shut down by Google, many people ditched the idea of RSS feeds, but I still see it here and there (and I'm using it as well, through Feedly)

After some thoughts and observations, I've decided to add a content section to workingreen.
There are two reasons behind that - one is to get more organic traffic through SEO, second is to share more information about different topics in the area of future technologies, green energy, transportation, the future of food, and all the things that companies in our catalog are working on.

As I have filled the database with 150-200 offers (number varies week-to-week as some offers are expiring and I'm adding new ones) I found it more and more difficult to navigate between different types of offers - be it employment type or seniority level.

It took me some time to figure out what would be the best way to do so, as I've seen many job sites with too complicated filtering options and I've decided to go simple in the beginning (I will adjust it based on feedback of course)

Oh, and by the way - today Work in Green got featured on 10words.io

Finished first releasable piece of product with initial (seed) set of offers gathered from multiple companies.
While not perfectly beautiful it quickly gained small traffic and since then I'm adding new fixes, improvements and features as often as possible, but till the end of 2021 it's still mostly a side project.
