Worklog express

Listening to frequent requests of our clients seeking a simple and user-friendly way of extending native Jira time-tracking functionalities, we decided to develop our own interpretation of Jira work logging. Although there are several Jira worklog extension solutions already available on Atlassian Marketplace, our clients complained on their complexity and time required to learn and start using them. Our main idea was to keep it as simple as possible, and still offer a new and fast approach for creating Jira worklogs across user-defined set of issues. Having the ability to classify your worklogs by creating your own worklog types, users should easily use them as a source for invoicing and other reports required by their business.

Worklog express addon is live and available on Atlassian marketplace. We are very excited about collecting feedback about our app and the whole idea behind it. We are expecting to struggle finding our first customers, but let's go step by step. Already preparing for our next step, development of cloud version.

We finally published our first app - Worklog express and we are waiting for Atlassian guys to approve it. We are still confused about the whole procedure of approving the addon because this is our first try, but hopefully they will approve it in a week or two.

As we were already working as Atlassian solution partners for more then a year, we were collecting and analyzing their frequent complaints about what they are missing the most on Atlassian Jira. We decided to try to create our own atlassian app in order to firstly help our clients and logically to try to publish it on Atlassian marketplace.
