wreeto
A simple workspace to help you focus
It's been less than a month since wreeto https://github.com/chrisvel/wreeto_official has been released as open source and lots of new goals have been accomplished.
Tags has been added as a feature on new and old notes. Also a notes list grouped by tag and a tag management page have been created.
Importing from external files it's now easy. There's an easy import form (beta) where any user can use to load their text/markdown notes to wreeto.
Finally, wreeto on github has reached 137 stars in less than a month.
My plans on monetisation have been changed: I am charging for a business license, support and also working on providing an encrypted cloud backup service. Public sharing of notes will be finally available.
Looking forward to receive any feedback !
This was the right time to let the Product Hunt community know of wreeto! After last months' refactoring, UI tweaking and behind-the-hood updates, I decided to post on Product Hunt.
Looking forward to your support, feedback or suggestions!
So far.. It's 2020 and there is another update for https://wreeto.com features !
The UI fine tuning goes on, smoothing out the note page, lists, fonts and mobile views.
The subscription model is getting close to its release finally.
A very important feature of a decent note taking application, is being able to search notes quickly and advanced! So now, there is a "Quick search" button on the sidebar which searches notes as the User types in. Advanced search is on the roadmap to take place soon.
Looking forward to get some feedback. Sign up is still easy (takes some seconds) and credit-card-free, so don't hesitate to post your opinion!

Another major update for https://wreeto.com! Now the users have the ability to export their notes to a .zip file and save them to their drives.
There is one thing I hated and still hate in all cloud applications: Even great companies fail and people have to move their data manually to another service or lose them. Most of productivity software vendors do not allow their users to export or save their data. But when they also do, it's an unreadable backup file.
Simply as that, in wreeto your data belong to you!

For the last month, I've been fixing bugs and improving application stability and security. There has also been progress in developing new features.
One of them is the ability to view Notes, Categories and sub-Categories in a Wiki View layout. This is one of the things I wanted to add since the beginning of wreeto. The current and new users are able to Add notes, setup categories and projects, then just navigate to the Wiki view page by clicking the link on the sidebar.
Making it more interactive with inline editing and more visual enhancements will be a very strong feature of wreeto.
Other than this, wreeto now offers its services to ~130 users and continues to process hundreds of notes, an amount which is growing on a daily basis.
More updates coming !

There is nothing faster than being able to checkout an application in 5 seconds with no password or email confirmations, no captchas and no fuzz.
Google sign-up is now ready. New or existing users can signup/signin very quickly and create a note in no more than 5 seconds!
There has been a very busy week in wreeto, as more UI fixes and performance tweaks have been introduced. A quick note button has also been added to sidebar. Taking notes as fast as possible and minimising the hassle that popular note-taking apps have, is a priority for wreeto.
If you haven't already tried wreeto, please do now! https://wreeto.com
Looking forward to the 1st-month-going-public, wreeto's birthday!

Things that have been added in the last version:
-
Mobile UI has been finalised, issues fixed. I hope it works well ( I've been using it myself on the road) until native apps will be developed. I would appreciate any mobile-related feedback from people that have signed up.
-
Added quick table creation and code highlighting buttons in the markdown editor toolbar
-
Minor performance fixes

So far it's been 19 days since launch and I wanted to share some insights and statistics:
- 80 signups have been made
- 8 users have confirmed their emails (bots?)
- 42 users have created 1 note (got bored?) and the rest 1+ ones. Some (8) created over 7, meaning that they really liked the product!
- about 3,400 page views
- about 1,420 unique user visits from 86 countries
My next milestone includes:
- talking personally to users and ask for feedback
- improve/fix UI bugs
- setup payments
Any feedback will be much appreciated!

Congrats! Your website looks nice. To be honest I personally would not be interested, but I think it's quite possible to find many others, who are. I would recommend to you that if you want to generate money with this you should try to check as quickly as possible if people are willing to pay for this in order to sort of complete your business model validation.
I would be interested in how you launched and where?
Good luck and many paying customers :)-

Not yet - not until I fix all UI flakiness...

I'm curious, where did you launch/focus your marketing?
I noticed a ton of bot traffic (scrapers/APIs?) from sites like Hacker News, but I did get legitimate traffic and signups.

I am moving in little steps, so only hackernews and a bit of reddit.

Love the clean and minimal design. Your messaging from the value proposition to pricing is very clear as well. A job well done!

Thanks!

Now users have the ability to share their notes in public with a private hashed link. Notes can easily made public or private with a click of a button.
We have also introduced a markdown toolbar editor for the notes so the non tech savvy users can easily customise the formatting of the notes.

A second goal has just been accomplished: Beta users can sign up and flood us with their feedback. If you have 10 minutes, you can just verify your email address in 2' and spend the rest to create some notes and tell us your opinion. Feedback matters!
