Write Genre
A Novel Writing App
I added a free version of my novel writing app to the Microsoft Store. Instead of going with a time based trial, I went with a feature constricted free version of the app. We will see if that was a good idea.
Got my first paying customers after posting in r/SideProject.

Thank you for posting this! My team and I just finished V3 of our app CloseLine.co and have yet to get and paying subscribers. So this hit home for me. Also, great tip on the reddit post!

Update.
I just talked to a friend who has a logistics company and he might give it a try.

I just went to closeline.co and typed in my number, you guys called me in a matter of seconds, that was awesome!, maybe adding some dynamic behaviour like 30 seconds count down or something of that sort to tell me that the request was sent and also to not allow me to enter my number again at least after sometime, because that is what I did since I thought it did not work the first time, you guys called me twice.
Other than that, the convenience of this is great. On your landing page I would have the "How it works" above the fold explaining better HOW your product works, because I did not get it until I tried it.
I see that you guys are using WIX they have nice templates in there. All the best!

@deifos I can't tell you how happy this makes me!!
Do you mind if we use your post above as a review on our website?
Also, we would love an intro to your friend at the logistics company! Just have him hit our site and we will give him a call 😉

I put up a short video of the app in action on Youtube:

I put the app on the Microsoft Store without planning for any launch activities. So now it just sitting there waiting to be discovered (hopefully).
I spent most of this year testing and improving the Windows version of the app. Since it started out as an online app it is build with electron.
I initially built the app in browser with Firebase as a backend.
I got a few beta testers and people really seemed to like it but personally at the time it did not feel like a subscription model would fit this type of app so well. I decided to convert it to a desktop app but got sidetracked for a while with other projects.
