"WriteFlow: Reclaim Your Focus, One Word at a Time."
Hey Indie Hackers,
Instead of giving you a long pitch, I want you to test something right now. It takes exactly 5 seconds, requires zero signups, and won't track a single byte of your data.

Why does this exist?
The modern web has become a hostile environment for human attention. Between invasive cookie prompts, newsletter walls, and flashing sidebar ads, our focus gets completely fractured—a state I call "text blindness". Your eyes literally slide off the page and you read the same sentence six times without absorbing anything.
I built WriteFlow to be a premium, distraction-free reading sanctuary.
How it keeps your brain locked in:
Kinetic Word Tracking: An optional, fluid glowing highlight path that moves dynamically with your reading target, giving your eyes a moving anchor to reduce attention drift.
Automatic Focus Hiding: The second you start scrolling down to read, the entire user interface smoothly fades away into a pure, ultra-minimal black canvas.
Integrated Speed TTS: A text-to-speech engine with variable speed adjustments so you can listen and read simultaneously to match your internal processing speed.
100% Local-First Privacy
As an independent developer, I made a strict choice to build WriteFlow to be 100% client-side. There is no cloud database, no backend server monitoring your reading habits, and zero user tracking. Everything runs entirely in your local browser cache, making it a completely private, ephemeral workspace.
The web application is live right now, and I’m currently developing a native Android companion utility that uses system overlays to pull text directly over apps like Chrome or X (Twitter).
Drop a comment and let me know: Does the kinetic tracking help anchor your focus, or do you prefer absolute static minimalism?

About
Motivation: I built WriteFlow to solve "text blindness." It uses a local-first architecture to strip web chaos, providing a distraction-free, private canvas for deep, intentional reading.
