Knowledge Marketplace
The first version of our product is now live! You can check it at getwiser.net !
We are currently running a beta version to test the platform and to receive any kind of feedback. During the beta, we have a pool of experts committed to a pro bono, meaning that if you want to receive advice from these top-notch experts, it is FREE!
Once we finished the market validation and gathered a private community of users and experts it was time to start developing a minimum viable product to test the demand. It took us almost two months to bring it to life and we have been improving it since the 1st day.

Last week we ended up having more users than experts so we decided to focus on expert guided communities instead. Guess what? Our expert numbers sky-rocketed! We woke up today to a growth rate of 197%, we couldn't believe it! The right approach is key 🎉🎉

Hey Jeff, thank you for your interest!
We are still framing our monetization strategy, but it might be something around a commission/subscription model-

I can't remember who published it but there a really good case study about Clarityfm and some of the business challenges they faced with their model and in general some really good insights about selling on-demand expertise/consulting.

Yesterday we launched our landing pages and as of today we just gathered our first 20 prospective clients. We started off having more experts than users and scratched our heads about it. Then we focused on more user guided communities and by the end of the day we saw an interesting twist on the numbers. Closing the day with more users than experts!🎉

Congrats on getting the landing page live. That's already a step many founders never reach.
One suggestion: don't treat the landing page as the validation itself. The real validation starts when you put it in front of your target audience and measure whether they're willing to take action, whether that's joining a waitlist, booking a call, or committing to pay for the solution.
I'd also spend time talking directly to both sides of the marketplace. Understanding what experts want may be very different from understanding what users are looking for, and you'll need both sides engaged for the platform to work.
A framework like this can help structure the process and avoid building based on assumptions: https://foundersbar.com/market-validation-for-startups
Good luck with the launch. The conversations you have with potential users over the next few weeks will probably teach you more than months of additional development.
