You Don't Know Africa

I just couldn't resist. The Impossible Edition combines all previous games in the hardest possible way. To complete it, players need to name all 54 countries from memory, and then find all 54 countries on the map, based on the flag alone. This probably concludes the game series.

8 years after launching the original, and 1.5 years after the second part, You Don't Know Africa is still played by tens of thousands of people around the world every month. And since I found myself with a bit of time, I felt like building part 3.

The third part challenges users to identify 20 flags of African countries as fast as they can. Again, this is proving surprisingly difficult for most.

This part was the easiest to build since a lot of code is adapted from Part 2.

7 years after launching the original, in Covid lockdown and in need for something to distract myself, I felt like building a sequel. You Still Don't Know Africa challenges users in a different way: Can you name 20 African countries from memory? And for those who are really into it: Can you name all 54 countries?

This game, originally mainly an exercise for myself to improve my coding skills, is proving waaaaaaay more popular than I thought. Three weeks after launching it, it was been played in over 100 countries worldwide and users have played a total of more than 1 million minutes.
