Submitted to BetaList + Results

On 10th December 2019 I submitted to BetaList. In the beta period users could sign up and use the product for free. It took 16 days to be approved by BetaList, and then just 2 days to be featured. I didn't pay the $129 to expedite the feature, I was happy to wait it out, so was surprised it was featured so quickly.

10th December, submitted to BetaList

26th December, BetaList approved Yourganize to be featured

28th December, Yourganize was featured on the site

29th December, Yourganize in the BetaList newsletter

In the 7 days after the feature I had 369 site users, compared with 48 users for the previous 7 days. 290 were explicitly from the BetaList site link.

Google Analytics shows twice the number of site users from BetaList (89) on the day the app appeared in the BetaList newsletter, the day after it was featured on the BetaList site (39 users).

In the 7 days after the feature I had 57 free sign ups to the site, and another 19 since that time.

I'd say this was useful. I've had a number of product feedback comments from these users and hopefully have a few product advocates who will be discounted on the Pro version once it's live.

Whether it's worth $129 to expedite I'll leave to you! My feature happened very quickly so perhaps it's worth holding out a few days.
