System administrators of medium to long data centers would be most interested in monitoring local server availability.
Small IT infrastructure facilities also benefit from such a tool, as it reduces downtimes because it enables the administrator to respond more quickly.
Ah gotcha! Yeah We did get a few DDOS attacks when we shipped it (might just be a part of building in public), so I see that as another use case. Site being down during an initial launch can hurt the early revenue/feedback pretty bad.
But aside from that we still have it go down from time to time, app uses a lot of CPU so the # of concurrent users affects it quite a bit. Should only be an occasional thing for most (though can be a mess when it does).

Our service let's you know if the server goes down, but it would be cool to have a bot tailored to your use case (even things like users encountering errors so you can reach out and fix it, might not scale but good for creating brand advocates early and improving the product)

Great tool for monitoring server availability. It would be a cool feature to implement this solution for local servers as well [Windows, Linux].

We ping once per minute (small ddos attacks use 10,000-100,000 per minute) so your server shouldn't be affected at all.
