Building a marketplace has given its fruits — YouTeam applied to Y Combinator, world's unicorn-est accelerator program, and won itself a place in the YC batch of Winter 2018. The participation in the program gave access to fantastic people, new clients, and helped building a stronger product.

After noticing a significant interest in their services, YouTeam co-founders have decided to make a bold move and build a marketplace for hiring offshore engineers. It meant that anyone could access a tech talent pool meticulously vetted by YouTeam, set up interviews, and hire the developers matching their projects in a matter of a week.

Having encountered numerous issues with trying to hire a remote dev team, YouTeam's co-founders decided to start a company that will help businesses in the UK to scale their dev teams offshore. This is how YouTeam has been created — out of a real necessity to create the transparent and easy way to work with the remote tech talent.
