November 2, 2020 #1 Top Free in the Russian AppStore

For some reason, the game was a huge success in Russian AppStore, and in total we have about 60% of all downloads from Russian-speaking countries. It is still a mystery for us why it resonated so well there. We received a lot of stories about people playing the game from our users.

It took only about two weeks from the idea to publishing the app on AppStore. Since the game was simple, we also decided to add translations to several languages. We supported 13 languages.
The game had only ads and no other monetisation. Well, at that time, there was no premium model yet.

February 1, 2011 Came up with the idea

After a few finished games for iOS we started thinking how we could utilise the touch screen. The idea was to have some monster where you could put a finger in the mouth, and then it would snap to test your reaction and nerves. The first prototype was done with two static sketches and a code written in 2 hours. We started playing it and testing on others and we could immediately see how engaging it is.
