Hey IH folks 👋

I just launched zimage.net, a free and super-simple way to use Z-Image, the new 6B Single-Stream Diffusion model from Tongyi MAI / Alibaba.

If you haven’t seen Z-Image yet: it’s insanely fast (≈1s), photorealistic, bilingual (EN/中文) and runs on consumer GPUs. But despite the strong research buzz, most people still struggle to try it without digging into repos or local deployment.

So I built zimage.net — a clean, practical interface that lets anyone generate and edit images with Z-Image instantly, no setup, no friction. My goal is to make the model accessible to everyday creators, not just ML folks.

Why I built it

I love lightweight, high-performance AI tools, and Z-Image hits a unique sweet spot:
• great quality without huge hardware
• excellent Chinese + English text rendering
• fast enough for real creative flow
But the ecosystem around it is still early. So I wanted to create a community-friendly entry point that lowers the barrier to trying the model.

What’s next?

I’m planning to expand zimage.net with things that power users + makers actually want:
• curated prompt collections
• usage tips for design, photo realism, posters, etc.
• deployment guides for running Z-Image locally or in your own apps
• a gallery or community board if there's demand
• maybe even an API if creators want to integrate it into their workflows
