But as someone who’s also worked with broadcast, leagues and media teams, I kept running into the same frustrating reality: capturing and sharing the best moments from live games is painfully slow and manual. Great plays happen in seconds, but turning them into polished, shareable highlights often takes hours (or an entire editing team). Smaller clubs, lower tier sports and regional broadcasters simply can’t keep up with the big leagues - they miss the real-time social buzz, fan engagement drops and viral opportunities slip away. That’s what inspired Zentag AI. The journey wasn’t linear. We started with basic computer vision models that could detect goals or dunks, but the clips were often poorly framed or missed context. Over dozens of iterations (and a lot of late-night testing on live matches), we layered in multi-angle awareness, smart narrative editing, automatic captions and direct publishing integrations. The biggest evolution was shifting from “good enough” detection to truly cinematic, broadcast-quality highlights that feel human-made - while still delivering them instantly. Today, Zentag AI watches live feeds, identifies the moments that matter, crafts beautiful clips and pushes them wherever you want them - social, apps, cloud - all automatically.
