Zero Human Labs
multi-agent AI platform
The backstory
I've been building with AI agents for a while now. The promise was incredible — deploy a team of specialized agents, let them work autonomously, and focus on the actual product.
The reality? I became a full-time agent babysitter.
Routing tasks manually. Watching API costs spiral out of control overnight. Debugging coordination failures at 2am. Every framework I tried — LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen — gave me primitives but still made me build all the hard stuff myself: routing logic, cost controls, safety guardrails, observability.
I was spending more time managing AI than building with it. So I built the thing I actually wanted.
What I built
Zero Human Labs — a multi-agent AI platform where you define your entire agent org in a single YAML file and it runs itself.
Here's what it does that nothing else does out of the box:
🏷️ Sealed-bid auction routing Every task goes to auction. Agents bid based on specialization + track record. Best agent wins automatically. I never manually assign a task.
💰 Per-agent wallets + org-level budget caps Every agent has a spending wallet. Org-level caps are hard limits. Runaway API spend is structurally impossible. This alone saves me from the nightmare of a USD 400 overnight bill.
⚡ Circuit breakers Agents that violate governance thresholds get frozen automatically. No manual debugging. No 2am emergencies.
🧠 Smart model routing Tasks get matched to the cheapest model that can handle them. Simple tasks don't go to GPT-4o. I'm saving 30–80% on AI API costs vs naive routing.
📋 One YAML file That's it. Define roles, budgets, governance presets. Deploy a Product Squad, Marketing Agency, or DevOps Team in minutes.
Governance defaults are calibrated from 146 SWARM simulation runs across 43 agent types — not guesswork.
Where it stands today
✅ Free demo live at zero-human-labs.com (1 agent, 1 workflow, open-source models — no credit card)
✅ Pro plan at USD 49/month — unlimited agents, 1M tokens/month included, full governance suite
✅ Supports GPT-4o, Claude Haiku/Sonnet/Opus, and open-source models
✅ OpenAI-compatible API + CLI tooling
Early days but the core system is solid. Looking for feedback from other founders who've hit the same walls with agent frameworks.
What I'd love feedback on
Does the sealed-bid auction routing resonate as a concept or does it need simpler framing for non-technical founders?
Is USD 49/month the right price point for solo founders, or does it need a lower entry tier?
Which use case would you want to see a full walkthrough of first — Product Squad, Marketing Agency, or DevOps Team?
Happy to answer anything. This community helped me think through the early architecture decisions and I want to give that back.
