ZeroMS
Fast, independent and sustainable blogging platform
Today, I launched the landing page!
A friend of mine, who is designer and UX expert, proposed his help with all things frontend after I showed him the horrible landing page design I created, and he basically did all of the work there.
I think it looks stunning! I hope it works (converts) just as well.
More about it in the next video.
During this month, I've managed to record and release first two videos (before getting sick with COVID, which essentially screwed my plans) and do a pretty good market research: finding out what my potential customers want, what their problems are, etc. I did so both by googling, and by finding and interviewing some real people.

I am building ZeroMS in public - on a Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwEzHQF-0lUNfYEL2vVGJFA
I believe it's both a great way to build an audience and to get real-time feedback on what you are doing!
Here is a little bit more my motivation for building in public: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/my-motivation-experiences-and-learnings-so-far-from-building-in-public-on-youtube-b53b5b0e3e

I wanted to start working on side projects in public for a while now. My "main" idea is simply too big and scary to attack immediately, so I've decided to work on something easier and smaller and learn from it.
That's when I came up with ZeroMS. In fact, it was always on my mind - it's exactly one of those "itches" they suggest you should scratch. I am blogging occasionally and so far have tried multiple blogging platforms and software. But it's always a compromise between ease of use, speed, and independence. Also, I care about the sustainability of web, and seeing how terrible some blogs rate on websitecarbon.com - I decided to tackle it all at once.
ZeroMS is an uncompromising blogging platform aimed at technically inclined bloggers who understand the value of speed, owning their data, and who care about the planet.

The Internet has become overweight. Modern blogging platforms and software suffer from bloated and slow webpages, data ownership and privacy issues, careless and irresponsible use of energy. ZeroMS is changing this.
