Hey Indie Hackers!

Like many of you, I’ve worked with distributed teams across multiple time zones, and one thing that always frustrated me was scheduling meetings and coordinating across different time zones. I got tired of Googling “10 AM CST in PST” and doing mental math.

So, I built ZoneBot – a simple Slack bot that lets you convert time zones right inside Slack without leaving the chat.

💡 How it works:

• Type /convert-time 10:00 AM CST in Slack, and ZoneBot instantly shows the equivalent time in your time zone.

• It helps remote teams eliminate back-and-forth on scheduling.

🚀 The Journey:

• I built it as a personal project to scratch my own itch.

• It got approved in the Slack Marketplace 🎉.
