As of today, we're up to 4 paying customers totaling $20/MRR :) Had to temporarily pause Google advertisements because of other financial commitments, so we're exploring other ways of gaining users with less monthly spend. Also in the process of bringing on a kick ass marketing guru to help promote the site more!
We got our first paying customer today. They signed up for our smallest $2.99 / month plan, but I'm still suuuuuuuuper excited! This is the first time I've put a product out there and someone, without prompt, has decided that they want to pay to use it. I'm not crying, you're crying :)

Today marks the first day that we're opening up Zoobl for beta testers. Asking the IndieHacker community and other close contacts to try the product and give their feedback. This marks the first time our founder, Joe, has launched a product that other people can fully utilize.

Congrats on the release!
The product looks interesting. I would suggest improving the design of the landing page a bit, the colors in the hero section make the text a bit hard to read and the washed-out gray/blue combination makes it a bit sad. I like the pricing section a lot more, with the white background, very easy to read.

Thank you for the feedback - noting your feedback and I can definitely try to make the hero a bit 'happier' with a brighter colors. Design isn't my strength, so much appreciate the feedback :)

A friend of mine runs a YouTube channel devoted to answering IT questions for people trying to break into that career path. I ended up watching some of their older videos and clicked one of the links in the video's description... the link was broken.
Obviously I notified my friend of the broken link, but the problem solver and developer in me knew there had to be a way to prevent this from happening.
A lot of people wouldn't know this, but older content on YouTube brings in a lot of traffic and thus $$ for creators. Knowing that people hit old videos frequently, I thought.. those links should still work. Even if the destination the link was pointing to originally wasn't relevant anymore, that user should still be routed somewhere that makes sense. A dead link is such a bad experience to a user. Not to mention a lost opportunity for the creator.
So I set out to build a product that my friend could use. Something where they could generate static URLs and be able to change the destination of that URL at any time. I also knew that creators needed a better way to know when any of their links are broken so they can update them. Because dead links = lost money.
So that's a super quick history of where the idea for Zoobl came :)
