Zuunote
A Markdown note-taking app for Web
I just wrapped up one of the hardest features I ever built. It was hard because I had no one to turn to except sheer trial & error. I had wished there was a blog post that can soothe my anxiety from being stuck in a rut for days. Well, now we got one: https://zuunote.com/blog/interactive-image-in-wysiwyg-editor/
Launched landing page https://zuunote.com for people to learn what I'm building and they can subscribe to be notified when the MVP is ready.
Starting goals of this project are to address the disconnect I see in the current crop of rich-text editors; to re-imagine and craft an experience when writing in Markdown; to avoid another Electron packaged app that would choke my 2018 Thinkpad machine even more :)

The landing page is really nice looking. As I scrolled, though, I was a little overwhelmed with the amount of reading required. After skimming it all, I still wasn't entirely sure what the primary benefit of the product was.
The videos seem like a great way to communicate that more quickly, but the way they were recorded made it hard to understand what was going on. I'd recommend indicating more clearly (maybe captions?) what keys are being pressed, or which actions the user is taking during the recorded video.

Great design on the landing page. My feedback would be to use less words and more product visuals.
About
I wanted to address the disconnect between us using Markdown syntax to format texts and when we want to change them, we have to select them and edit with a toolbar.
