December 22, 2025 Why I'm building Zweeep

Multilingual conversations are still broken. When a group is split across languages, people get left out, the chat slows down, and you end up copy/pasting into translation apps. It works, but it doesn’t feel like real communication.

I started building Zweeep to fix that: voice messaging where you speak normally, and everyone hears you in their language, in your voice. It’s built for 1:1 and small groups (up to 8 people), so multilingual groups can stay in one chat instead of fragmenting.

Privacy was the other big reason. Most messaging apps keep everything forever. Zweeep is designed to be privacy-first—messages are encrypted and auto-delete by default—so casual conversations don’t turn into a permanent archive.
