February 18, 2026 Public AI is amazing… until the work is confidential. So we built Zylox.

I love how fast tools like OpenAI’s ChatGPT made it to “default workflow.”

But in the last year or two, a pattern has been pretty consistent inside real companies:

  • Employees paste something sensitive “just to summarise it”

  • Policies get tightened

  • Whole orgs restrict / ban public AI tools on work devices

Example: Samsung Electronics temporarily restricted generative AI tools after sensitive info was uploaded.

Amazon also warned employees not to share confidential info with public AI tools.

And there have been real incidents/bugs where cross-user data exposure was possible (even if limited) OpenAI published a postmortem on one such issue.

Regulators have also taken it seriously, Italy’s watchdog investigated and later fined OpenAI over privacy issues related to ChatGPT.

So for high-trust work (contracts, board packs, deal rooms, internal strategy), teams end up in one of two bad modes:

  1. They avoid AI entirely, or

  2. They use it anyway, but with constant self-censoring and anxiety.

Zylox exists to remove that trade-off.

Zylox is a private AI workspace designed specifically for confidential documents + drafting, so you can actually use AI on the work that matters, not just the safe stuff.

If you’re a founder/operator/legal/finance person and you’ve had to say “don’t paste that into ChatGPT”… I’d love your take:

What’s the #1 workflow you’d want a private AI to handle inside your company?

Public AI made speed accessible, but it didn’t make trust accessible. Zylox exists for the people doing high-stakes work where “just paste it into ChatGPT” isn’t acceptable. I’m building Zylox to give private ai to them.
