17 conversions from Betalist: My stats 📊

Howdy fellow hackers👋

@Nakkeeran and @dustinwstout asked me to share the stats from Boei’s Betalist feature, so here they are.

To be honest, I’m quite happy with the results:

  • 182 visitors from Betalist (158 unique) - see graph below
  • 8 likes and 4 retweets on Betalists Tweet - I cannot see how many people have clicked because they go to Betalist first
  • 11% conversion rate (17) for the forever free plan of Boei

I have set up a Slack message to notify me of a new subscriber and that is amazing. It is so motivating to see someone has subscribed! 😍

Hope this helps with your Betalist posts!

PS. Have written some Betalist tips here

I may try another Betalist test (if they’ll let me) where I have a free offer. I’ve got a free sample pack ready—want to add some more to it—and maybe that will help people understand just how much value is packed into the products. Plus it will give me a way to capture emails.

Would say to brand it a bit smart. Present it like a new product or something like that and you can have multiple launches

Thanks for sharing. Not to hard to get people to signup for something free. Not easy, but not hard. Harder to get them to be actual users. Much harder still...read, much, much, much, harder...to get paying customer.

    But...good going.
My advise...try to engage them in conversation for feedback and to actually use.

Yes agree, that is why I offer the free version :)
Having conversations with multiple users and happy folks, it is real nice.
For me, getting money out of it is something as a nice to have for the future.

Interesting, thanks for sharing! I see you did wel on PH, any tips to share for that?
