In February I posted my new idea 30 Hour Jobs: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/f250451cb9
I got a ton of great feedback from you all and many of you signed up to the newsletter. Thanks!
Over the next 48 hours, over 400 people signed up for the newsletter and I continued to receive lots of great positive feedback.
Since then, I've launched a proper job board as well as a new blog featuring interviews (more to come!). The newsletter now has about 1,200 subscribers with lots of engagement.
I just wanted to say thanks to this community for all the positive feedback and encouragement. And as usual, please feel free to share feedback about the site!
My question now is: what would you like to see? More interviews with people close to the topic? More jobs? My biggest challenge for sure will be finding enough employers to post jobs and support the cause β so if you are one (or know one) please reach out!
Good work dude!
Where else were you promoting this? I'm assuming that you didn't just post it here on IH right?
Hey armen!
I've been sharing on Twitter, IH, hacker news, lobste.rs, and I've been doing some cold email outreach.
Mostly effort on my part to get traffic to the site, but I'm hoping that I'll see more organic traffic soon. I'm hoping the blog should help that.
So far cold outreach by email has been fairly successful. This is the first time I've really leaned into cold emailing people as a strategy. It's a lot of work!
I'm also open to any tips when emailing folks to do cross promotion or interviews. ππΌ
