30 years coding for accessibility… now I’m automating it with AltSnap.ai

I’ve spent 30 years building websites in education technology, where ADA compliance was required from the start. I’ve written thousands of lines of alt text by hand, and it’s always been one of those things that’s important but tedious.

Now every public site is being checked for accessibility, and so many fail at the basics; especially alt text.

So I built AltSnap.ai a small JS snippet that automatically generates context-aware alt text for images, adds a confidence score so you know if it’s solid, and runs ADA + AI-SEO scans in the background.
